Last Sunday of the Season:
The Choir of St. James

As the summer months approach, the Choir of St. James goes on hiatus until the new season. Be sure to attend this Sunday, June 1, for a special service celebrating the many members of the choir and their integral role in our sacred moments, memories, and great music.

Father Jon was invited to do an impromptu community photo shoot across the street at our favorite coffee spot, Document Coffee Bar. Watch the video and look out for it on the gallery wall soon!

The St. James Pride Month Book Discussion

Please join vestry member Matt Wallace and Father Jon Feuss in the vestry room after the 10:30 service the first four Sundays in June as we make our way through From Sin to

Amazing Grace: Discovering the Queer Christ by Fr. Patrick Cheng. For centuries, LGBTQ+ people have been called sinful. Fr. Cheng's book asks how, in light of that painful history, LGBTQ+ Christians can reclaim the doctrines of sin and God's amazing grace in their spiritual lives. We will also discuss the joys and challenges of being an LGBTQ+ Christian. All parishioners are welcome at these discussions. Please email Fr. Jon Feuss at jfeuss@stjla.org if you would like to participate.

Last Chance to Sign Up: The Languages of Pentecost

We will be celebrating Pentecost on June 8, 2025. If you speak a language other than English and would like to help read a portion of the lesson from Acts, please email Father Jon (jfeuss@stjla.org) by June 2. And don’t forget to wear red!
