Soup Kitchen Fundraiser

Our very own David Courtwright will be having an album release show this Saturday at 6:30 PM at St. Athanasius Episcopal Church (located in St. Paul’s Commons). A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to the Saint James soup kitchen. Tickets are available here.

Olive Wood Crafts from Bethlehem

This Sunday, August 3, we will enjoy a visit by our friends from Bethlehem Handcrafts, the company that arranged and hosted our wonderful visit to the Holy Land in April 2023. For centuries, Bethlehem's Christians have supported their families by carving olive wood religious art for visiting pilgrims. But now, because of the economic situation in the Holy Land, the number of pilgrims who visit the holy sites in Bethlehem is decreasing. Buying these crafts helps support Christian families of the Holy Land to be able to make a living and support their families. What's more, the crafts are lovely. Enjoy!

Painting is in Progress Mondays – Saturdays!

Will be doing quite a bit of painting until August 9 (with the exception of Sundays). If you are visiting campus Monday – Saturday, we do not recommend parking in our parking lot due to the possibility of paint droplets landing on your car.

Father Koh’s Office: Books and More!

This Sunday after services we invite you to take a look in Father Koh’s office and see if there are any items or books which you would like. If so, please feel free to take them!

Road Closure This Weekend

Wilshire Boulevard will be closed between Western Avenue and St. Andrews Place from 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, through 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4. The closure will support final paving work west of the Wilshire/Western intersection. A detour route will be in place and local access will be maintained between Wilton Place and St. Andrews Place. Parking across the street can be accessed on Ingraham Street (the normal exit for the lot).
