Save the DateJuly 13: Parish Quarterly Meeting Celebrating St. James Choir SundayA Special Message and Letter to the Congregation from Canon James Buonemani
The St. James Pride Month Book DiscussionPlease join vestry member Matt Wallace and Father Jon Feuss in the vestry room after the 10:30 service the first four Sundays in June as we make our way through From Sin to Amazing Grace: Discovering the Queer Christ by Fr. Patrick Cheng. For centuries, LGBTQ+ people have been called sinful. Fr. Cheng's book asks how, in light of that painful history, LGBTQ+ Christians can reclaim the doctrines of sin and God's amazing grace in their spiritual lives. We will also discuss the joys and challenges of being an LGBTQ+ Christian. All parishioners are welcome at these discussions. Please email Fr. Jon Feuss at jfeuss@stjla.org if you would like to participate.
