This Wednesday night, December 18, we will have our third and final session about Mary, the subject of our Advent study this year. We will be talking about the many ways that she is seen today: prophet, matriarch, theologian, disciple, friend and so much more. Feel free to join us this Wednesday night, even if for the first time. We begin at 7 PM. Looking forward to seeing you.

Parking Changes
We want to ensure that church members with accessibility issues have an easy time parking for services. For this reason, we will be reserving a certain number of spaces in our small lot on Saint Andrews Place with blue cones to show that those spots are solely for the use of members with accessibility issues. These spots will be located on the school side of the parking lot. This will only be for the 10:30 AM service. At other services, the parking lot will be available for all.
Outdoor Church School
Now that we are worshiping in the parish hall, we are offering something new for children and families. Each week during the 10:30 AM service, our church school cart will be parked in the courtyard loaded up with crayons, markers, paper, crafts, and most importantly, snacks!
One requirement though: parents must always stay with their children.

Confirmation Class Underway - You Can Still Join There’s still time to join Confirmation class which continues this coming Tuesday night! I am teaching a four-session confirmation class and three dates remain: August 11, 25, and September 1. These classes will meet on Tuesday nights on Zoom at 7 PM in the evening and will last one hour. Please email me if you would like to participate! Festive St. James' Day Last Sunday Last Sunday we enjoyed a special day of hellos, goodbyes and celebration. Our interim director of music, Bruce Neswick, joined us for one final service; incoming director of music Chris Caruso-Lynch stepped on board in his new role; longtime church member Monica Watters celebrated a big birthday in style; and last but not least, the feast day of our patron saint, James the Greater.
