The Scaffolding is Up!

The scaffolding is up! Our church may look under construction from the outside, but we're still going strong in person here in the parish hall and also on livestream. Come join us! Blessings. 🙏🏽❤️

The St. James Pride Month Book Discussion

Please join vestry member Matt Wallace and Father Jon Feuss in the vestry room after the 10:30 service the first four Sundays in June as we make our way through From Sin to

Amazing Grace: Discovering the Queer Christ by Fr. Patrick Cheng. For centuries, LGBTQ+ people have been called sinful. Fr. Cheng's book asks how, in light of that painful history, LGBTQ+ Christians can reclaim the doctrines of sin and God's amazing grace in their spiritual lives. We will also discuss the joys and challenges of being an LGBTQ+ Christian. All parishioners are welcome at these discussions. Please email Fr. Jon Feuss at jfeuss@stjla.org if you would like to participate.

The Languages of Pentecost

We will be celebrating Pentecost on June 8, 2025. If you speak a language other than English and would like to help read a portion of the lesson from Acts, please email Father Jon (jfeuss@stjla.org) by June 2. And don’t forget to wear red!
